Rogue Soldiers Website Transition

Moving from a Forum-Based Website to an Information-Based Platform

The [RS] Rogue Soldiers website is transitioning away from a traditional forum-focused structure and toward a more streamlined, information-based platform. This change allows us to better support our community by keeping important information easy to access while moving community interaction and support processes into Discord where they can be handled more efficiently.

What Is Changing?

Going forward, the website will no longer serve as the primary place for forum discussions, ban appeals, player reports, or other support-related submissions. Those processes will now take place directly within our Discord, where our staff can respond faster, route issues to the correct teams, and keep everything organized through our ticket system and designated support channels.

This means that ban appeals, player reports, general support requests, and similar community actions will now be handled in Discord rather than through website-based forum workflows.

What Will the Website Be Used For?

While the website is changing in purpose, it is not going away. The current site will continue to serve as the home for important Rogue Soldiers information and tools. Rather than centering the website around forum activity, we are shifting its focus toward pages that provide lasting value to our community.

The website will continue to be used for things such as server listings, game and community guides, rules, support documentation, informational pages, and other resources that members and visitors may need at any time.

Existing Pages Will Not Be Disrupted

This transition is specifically being handled in a way that avoids disrupting the parts of the website that are already working well. Existing informational and utility pages, such as our Battlebit Remastered Server Listing page, will continue to remain available and supported.

Our goal is not to remove or break the systems and pages our community already uses. Instead, we are refining the website so that it better serves as a reliable resource hub. Pages that provide server information, connection details, gameplay resources, or other structured information will continue to have a place on the site.

In short, the forum-oriented parts of the website are being phased out, but the information-oriented parts of the website will continue to be maintained and expanded.

Why Move Appeals, Reports, and Support to Discord?

Discord has become the center of our day-to-day community activity. Handling appeals, player reports, and support directly in Discord allows our staff to respond more quickly, involve the appropriate teams immediately, and provide a more organized support experience overall. It also keeps communication centralized in the platform where most of our members already interact.

Looking Ahead

This change is about improving how Rogue Soldiers operates across both platforms. Discord will serve as the place for active support, moderation-related requests, and member interaction, while the website will continue to serve as a stable home for server listings, guides, rules, and informational content.

By making this transition, we can preserve the value of our existing website resources without forcing support and community processes to remain in a format that no longer fits how our community operates today.
