How to Use Sesh.FYI​

This is the guide for creating and managing events using the Sesh.FYI bot for the [RS] Rogue Soldiers Clan.
Sesh handles our community events, scheduling, and RSVP systems.



Posting Events​


  1. Go to the Sesh Dashboard:

  2. Enter an event title
    Example:

    • Community Game Night
    • BattleBit Squad Coordination
    • Hell Let Loose Battle​

  3. Set the Start Time
    You may type times naturally such as:
    Saturday at 3pm​
    Sesh will automatically convert time zones for everyone.

  4. Choose the appropriate event channel
    Recommended structure in RS Clan:

    • Public Events → Events open to everyone
    • Member Events → Events intended only for [RS] Clan members​

  5. Configure Event Options as Needed
    You may use:

    • Duration
    • Mentions (Do NOT use @everyone)
    • Description of your event
    • Banner image if desired​

  6. RSVP Options (Optional)
    You can create RSVP roles such as:

    • Team Leads
    • Players
    • Reserves
    • Support Roles​

  7. Enable Event Thread Discussion
    This allows attendees to coordinate, ask questions, and prepare before the event.

  8. Optional: Apply role restrictions
    If you want the event to only allow certain roles to RSVP while still appearing publicly, you may restrict attendance to:

    • RS Members
    • Staff
    • VIP Roles​

Finalize​

Once everything looks correct:
  • Click Post Event.
  • If you make a mistake, do not worry. Staff can help correct it.

You’re Done​

Your event is now live and members can RSVP, discuss, and attend.
